W.T.T.A's "Drone In Blood Out" comes packaged in some beautiful artwork that you rarely see in a underground project like this.I found myself staring at it continually when i first give this its first spin.Brilliant piece of work done here,bands need to check this out.I have heard Drone been referred to as "Brown Noise",what this means exactly i don't know.Maybe it means you shit yourself when you hear it,i don't know....What i do know is the opening "Drone In Blood Out" is a colossal track that fills the room with sound.Filled with sustained tension and atmosphere,the piece is a instant classic in the Drone genre.Sustained tension is the best way to describe the music here,it pulsates with a feeling of despair but with a over riding feeling the music is going to explode at any minute.Of course it doesn't,it keeps the tension stranglehold going to the last note.Like all good Drone music,the tracks are long.The first two tracks alone take up some 23 minutes but both tracks build with atmosphere and have a Horror movie theme quality to them."To Rage In Sound Of Valiant Despair" is a great example of how to create something truly beautiful in one way but scary as hell in another.Multi dimensional soundtracks that make you think or even trip to the point of losing your mind completely.These songs can put you on edge if you let them.Another highlight is "The Day Of My Disaster",another nicely constructed piece of Sonic Drone Doom that has a real sinister appeal to it."Darkness Into Light"continues in even more darker fashion,fans of Sunn O))) will dig this stuff as will fans of the more Ambient Black Metal Stuff.There is some real dark vibes going on here."A Slow Frenzy Of Despair" is full of electricity and fuzz,sort of a static filled nightmarish piece of noise rock.This track is pure gold!!!There is a total of 7 tracks on here and there is not much filler,rare for a Drone CD.With so many Drone bands around these days making music that to be honest is about as interesting as watching paint dry,it is a refreshing to hear something that warrants repeat listening s.Check it out,a must for fans of Drone Doom.9/10
