AUGUST 31ST - HOMELESS SITUATION UPDATE: DOOMMANTIA BEING PUT ON HOLD ...

 Update: Today is my first day of official homelessness. I have moved into a tent by a river, no electricity, no light, just a barren existence for me and my dog. Thankfully through the kindness of Doommantia Readers I was able to save my belongings, the most important of all being my extensive CD and record collection. I promise I will thank everyone one by one but I have no time to do that right now but I will thank you, you people are life-savers and I am deeply touched by your kindness and generosity. Right now, this site is strictly a part-time venture so be patient waiting for reviews and replies from emails. I have no internet access and my time is limited so getting to a public computer is very difficult as I don't have a car anymore either. Sitting all alone in the dark, hearing nothing except for the sound of running water from the near-by river makes you realize how fragile, unpredictable and cruel life can be. Your life can be turned upside down tomorrow so make the most of today. I am at work now which is why I can send you good people this update but outside of work, I am alone, broke, hungry and waiting for a break from this madness. When or if that happens I will be back stronger and more wise than I ever was before. This experience has made me very bitter, depressed and angry but it has also made me realize I have to be thankful for having friends that care so much so I thank you.

I am now homeless and without internet connection and thus Doommantia will be put on hold. Sorry for any inconvenience this may caused but without a roof over my head, what is the point in having a website right? Having only be given 2 weeks to find somewhere to live is down-right cruel in anyone's language but that is what this wonderful country and one very evil apartment manager has done for us. I will be closing the store one week from now so if you wish to order anything, now is the time. Thanks to everyone who donated but sadly it hasn't been enough to pull us out of this hole. So this is just a Heads-Up that the site will be going on hold and when or if it ever comes back is impossible to say at this stage. Just to break even, pay medical bills and be able to move, we need at least $5,000 so that is our donation goal. Please help if you can.

If anyone knows of an apartment or house in Washington State, the closer to the Grays Harbor area the better, please contact us. Also if you can help out in any other way, it would be appreciated. I am still suffering from heart related issues so what I can do is limited. Myself and my two buddies as seen in the photo are desperate.....Ed
I would like to add; We only got evicted because Ed had a heart attack and money had to go on medical bills. Apparently if you get sick in this country you are fucked. We complained to the apartment management over the way we are being treated and their response was sorry but not our problem. The world is a cold, heartless place where only the rich or the extremely lucky survive.....Sally


PS: Bands can still submit their works for review. We will send them out to other writers if need be and we will post the reviews as soon as possible. 

I hope someone comes forward, out all the 1000's of Doommantia readers, there has to be at least one with money to give - Jack Sabbath.

Donations stopped coming in a few days ago but NOW is the time, Ed needs them most. The readers saved Ed's belongings, now it is time to save Ed himself. Time is running out, please donate now. Please note that almost none of this begging for money has come from Ed himself, it is not his way to do that. This is coming from close friends and colleagues that don't want Ed to get more sick than he already is or even worse, die from frostbite or something or suicide from the stress and depression of it all.
